We asked our three progressive party candidates five questions to offer you a revealing preview of their positions.

Rupert Read (Green)
Re-elected as a Norwich councillor in 2007, Rupert has also stood in European elections but was foiled by UKIP successes. His academic background is Philosophy, Politics and Economics. He describes himself as an author, blogger and campaigner.

Julian Huppert (Liberal Democrat, incumbent)
MP for Cambridge since 2010, Julian was raised in Cambridge and attended the university here. He is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Institute of Physics. He previously served as County Councillor of East Chesterton for eight years.

Daniel Zeichner (Labour)
Having worked in IT, in both the public and private sectors and run his own business, Daniel is a keen environmentalist and an executive member of Labour’s national environmental campaigning group. He runs a Labour group campaigning to reform the House of Lords.
